Plan Ahead

When scheduling a Mover, keep in mind that the summer months are the busiest of the year and the beginning and the end of the month are the busiest regardless of the time of the year. If you must move during the peak times, plan well in advance to insure that you can book the Mover of your choice at a time of your choice.

PLACES TO NOTIFY

Four weeks prior to Moving Day, notify the post office of your move. You can do this at your local post office or there is an online Change of Address form at www.usps.com.

In addition to friends, relatives, business associates, don’t forget the following:

Utilities: Cable/Satellite – Electric – Gas – Water – Trash Pick-up – Telephone

Personal: Auto Finance Company – Lawn Service – Credit Card Co’s – Bank – Health Clubs

Professional Services: Doctors – Dentists – Lawyers – Accountants – Insurance Agents

Government Offices: Department of Motor Vehicles – Social Security Administration – State/Federal Tax Bureaus – Veterans Administration

Publications: Newspapers – Magazines – Periodicals
